Fay discovered her passion for art and working with clay while she was a graduate student at U.C. Berkeley working on a master’s degree in material science and engineering. Fay started a career in engineering, but she always managed to make time for her art. In 2007, she retired to spend her time  as a full-time artist in Florida. Fay was a member of Art League of Daytona Beach, Florida ArtistsGroup and Florida CraftsArts Gallery. She was a member of the Beaux Arts of CentralFlorida and served as a board member. She also served on the board of Ormond Memorial Museum. She was represented in various galleries in Florida, has exhibited in museums and galleries both in California and Florida, receiving top awards.Since her return to LA Fay has become active with LELA and SCACA groups.
