First exhibition at The Makery was a success!

“Play Time” was the first inaugural exhibition at The Makery on Los Angeles Street, former home of the toymaker B&B in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles. As an antidote to our serious times, The Makery invited local artists to submit work related to play - toys, games, manifestations of childlike wonder, etc.

Exhibiting artists included Mary Allan, Douglas Alvarez, Terri Berman, Karen Hochman Brown, Bibi Davidson, Nina Ehlig, Susan Feldman, Dwora Fried, Sandra Gallegos, Stefanie Girard, Patrick Gothard, Cathy Immordino, Leah Kneckt, Stevie Love, David Lovejoy, Austin Lubetkin, Lori Markman, Monica Marks, Cathi Milligan, Heather Morrow, Robert Rosenblum, Fred Rubin, and Debbi Swanson.
