$130.00

Medium: Oil on Canvas

Dimensions: 16x20

“I painted these images in person because the locations and subtle beauty always caught my attention. I select subjects that are instantly recognizable to many LA locals, like myself, especially old architecture. Presently, I’m continuing to explore the nuances of urban landscape.

In 2020, during the lockdown, I spent much of my time outside painting urban landscapes. Los Angeles has been a source of inspiration from the most iconic to the most gritty scenes. I strive to create paintings that reflect the current vibe of the city through a blend of realism and whimsy.

I’m an Artist born and raised in Los Angeles working in both traditional drawing and painting mediums and digital renderings. I earned a BFA from Otis College of Art and Design in 2012 with an emphasis on Illustration and Digital Media. For over a decade I have worked in Community Centers, Art Galleries, and Museums where I developed public programming, conducted extensive research projects and created educational materials. As an art teacher I have been invited as a guest instructor and held a Faculty position. In my current role as a Museum Educator I have had the privilege of teaching and learning from people of all ages and abilities.”
