The Inflation Buster Show
We give you the art supplies, you make some art. With prices on everything going through the roof, here at The Los Angeles Makery, we want to aid in your creativity. Once you’ve finished your masterpiece, bring it back, and we’re going to sell it for $99.99 in our Inflation Buster Show. Embellish and play with the provided materials, and have a good time.
The materials we will hand out are interior design samples that have been donated to us to keep them out of the landfill. You’ll receive wood, fabric, glass, resin, linoleum, ceramic tiles, among other things. Everyone is getting basically the same items. No substitutions. It’s your imagination and extra embellishments that make the art your own.
Pick up starts March 14th and runs through April 18th, giving everyone plenty of time to make your art. Drop off for the show is the weekend of the 2-3 of May.
Please make sure that when you bring your art in it’s wired up, and ready to hang. We’ll also need your title, materials, and price.
