Cathi Milligan guides you through the process of casting glass for beginners. Two sacred hearts that are cast in glass. You can make them identical or each one totally different, but you will make two. We’ll use frit, also known as crushed glass, in a variety of colors, to make a unique sacred heart that can be a paper weight, or we can glue a hanger to the back so you can hang it on your wall. All the materials are supplied for this two hour class. It’s a great introduction to glass casting. You will have to make arrangements to pick up the hearts or have them shipped to you, since they need to be fired in the kiln. $90.
