In this introductory, hands-on workshop, you’ll dive into the black-and-white process—from handling film to watching your very own print appear under the glow of the safelight.
We’ll spend the most time in our darkroom, keep things interesting, with the joy of making prints while discovering how light and shadow can turn the simplest scene into something great. We’ll also touch on classic darkroom post-processing techniques and review the process of mixing chemicals.
The workshop includes printing from a 35mm negative—if you have your own negatives, feel free to bring them along. The workshop fee covers materials, or you’re welcome to bring your own darkroom paper.
