Butoh Dance Performance by interdisciplinary artist Ibuki Kuramochi who was born in Japan & lives in LA.
Ibuki presents a Butoh dance performance exploring the delicate relationship between pain and healing. Through meditative movement and subtle transformation, the work reflects on how the body holds memory, grief, and resilience. Rather than seeking to erase pain, the performance embraces it as a path toward tenderness, compassion, and the quiet possibility of renewal
Composer Darren Huang was born in Toronto, raised in Beijing & now lives in LA. He draws on his multicultural background to create distinctive piano compositions & scores for film & documentaries. He has composed music for award-winning & nominated films & is currently working with Wong Kar-wai’s production team based in Hong Kong. He has also written a novel The Impermanent Light
