Title: Voices In The Head, 2025
Medium: linocut on muslin fabric
Dimensions: 36" x 21"
Artist Statement: I use lino cuts to make an impression of my feelings. Pressing these images onto muslin textile—creating repetitions that are never exactly the same—offers me a very different experience from my usual practice of painting. The process of carving the lino block and then printing it in a rhythmic motion, with both mind and body engaged, is deeply meaningful and enjoyable to me. It resonates with my interest in choral songs and mythology on one hand, and with our contemporary obsession with media and human connectivity on the other.
