Artist Statement: My art celebrates self-expression and the connections that bind us to ourselves and to others. Rooted in my Mexican heritage and shaped by limited access to creative outlets growing up, my work is of resilience and transformation. Painting on found wood and other salvaged materials, I explore themes of overcoming doubt and embracing one’s true self. Through my art, I hope to inspire others to pursue their creative paths and believe in the power of art to change lives and communities.
