Artist Statement: Through my art, what is otherwise invisible to me becomes visible. The 2 painted sides demonstrate the phenomenon of existence: the Unseen and the Seen.My art hopes to demonstrate just how easily one tends to forget what has been seen. A playful and mysterious play of what is remembered and forgotten. A juxtaposition of likes and dislikes that are not separable in my work. Each panel can be turned away from the wall on which it hangs to reveal a verso panel which adds a new visual and spatial dimension to the observer.
