One in a series of "Domestic Goddess: aprons, inspired by the frilly hostess aprons my mom would wear when entertaining in the 60's. Medusa was a figure in Greek mythology, one of the three Gorgons, a woman with living snakes for hair. Looking at her face would turn a person to stone. In modern times, Medusa has come to represent female rage and has become seen as a protector of women.
