This series is inspired by American feminist pop culture icons—women who have challenged norms, claimed space, and shaped cultural consciousness. Each figure I portray is a pioneer who redefined feminine identity in her era. Above each figure, a diamond spill serves as a coronation—a symbolic crowning that honors her unique purity, power, and worth. I incorporate gold and luminous accents drawn from traditional religious iconography, referencing saints, angels, Jesus, and Mary. By fusing pop culture and sacred symbolism, I elevate these women to divine status—reframing female icons as modern-day deities and reclaiming visual power in the process.
