One in a series of "Domestic Goddesses" aprons. Blodeuwedd was a Welsh Goddess created out of flowers to be a wife for Lleu Llaw Gyffes. When she fell in love with another man, she was punished by being turned into an owl. The apron is hand appliqued with flowers and hand embroidered— including the two owls, who are symbols of wisdom.
