THE GLOW SHOW
Step into the dark—and light it up.
The Los Angeles Makery invites artists to submit work for The Glow Show, an immersive exhibition celebrating all things luminous. We are seeking artwork that glows, radiates, fluoresces, or transforms under black light. Think neon, phosphorescence, UV-reactive materials, and unexpected uses of light.
This exhibition will be presented as a black light experience, turning the gallery into an electric, otherworldly environment. Works incorporating internal or small light sources are also welcome—anything that plays with illumination, contrast, and visibility in the dark.
We encourage submissions across disciplines: visual art, installation, sculpture, wearable work, and experimental forms. Performance and spoken word are especially encouraged, culminating in a dynamic closing event on Halloween.
Exhibition Dates: October 1–31, 2026
Location: Los Angeles Makery
Drop-Off (Hand Deliver Only): September 26-27, 2026
What We’re Looking For:
• Glow-in-the-dark or UV-reactive artwork
• Neon and light-based work
• Pieces incorporating small light sources
• Performance, sound, and spoken word for closing event
Please Note:
• All work must be hand-delivered. We do not accept shipped artwork.
• The Los Angeles Makery takes a 30% commission on all sales.
• Work must be exhibition-ready and safely installable.
• Artists are responsible for ensuring their work is stable and suitable for display.
• Artists submitting performance or spoken word will be scheduled for the closing event on Halloween.
