CALL FOR ART: “I. E. Takeover”
July 9–26, 2026
Los Angeles Makery
The Los Angeles Makery is proud to present “I. E. Takeover,” a group exhibition spotlighting artists from the Inland Empire and those deeply connected to its culture, communities, and evolving creative landscape.
We’re looking for bold, original work that reflects the spirit of the I.E.—its grit, beauty, contradictions, and identity. From suburban sprawl to desert expanses, warehouse shows to backyard studios, this exhibition aims to capture the raw and diverse voices shaping the region today.
All mediums are welcome, including painting, sculpture, photography, installation, video, and mixed media. Whether your work speaks to personal narrative, cultural commentary, or experimental form, we encourage submissions that push boundaries and tell authentic stories.
Details:
Exhibition Dates: July 9–26, 2026
Location: Los Angeles Makery
Eligibility: Artists based in or connected to the Inland Empire
Commission: 30% on all sales
Drop-Off: Accepted work must be hand-delivered (no shipments)
Drop-Off Dates: June 30 – July 2, 12–6 PM
This is more than a show—it’s a platform. A moment to amplify Inland Empire artists in the heart of Los Angeles and bring new visibility to a thriving, often overlooked creative community.
Take over the space. Bring the I.E. with you.
