The Art of Bitchcraft Call for Art
Witches. Bitches. Badasses. Outsiders. Rule-breakers. Spell-casters.
The Los Angeles Makery is summoning artists for The Art of Bitchcraft—an exhibition celebrating feminine power, rebellion, rage, humor, magic, sensuality, and the beautifully unapologetic art of giving a damn. 🖤
We want the work that makes people laugh, gasp, squirm, question, howl, or say “DAMN.”
Think:
Witchcraft & ritual, feminine rage & rebellion, power & transformation, sexuality & sensuality, the occult & the mystical, death, darkness & the underworld, magic, spells & superstition, bad women & misunderstood women, humor, satire & irreverence…or whatever bitchcraft means to YOU.
All mediums welcome. Painting, sculpture, photography, fiber, jewelry, ceramics, glass, mixed media, printmaking, found objects, installation, wearable art and more.
Whether your work is dark and sinister, hilarious and campy, beautiful and seductive, or downright feral—we want to see it.
